Latino Ministry

The people of Ypsilanti First United Methodist Church are committed to serve our Latino brothers and sisters.

The Church hosts English as a second language classes (ESL) at the church every Monday and Wednesday evening during the regular school year.  To attend or be a volunteer,  contact the church office at 734-482-8374.

We host Justice For Our Neighbors (JFON) clinics on the third Monday of every month from 4:00 p.m-8:00 p.m.  People experiencing immigration or refugee issues are invited to come to receive free legal advice.  To make a free appointment with JFON, call 734-709-1151.  To volunteer, visit: www.jfonsemi.org or call the church office.
